Sun Protection ๐ŸŒ

Don’t forget to wear a hat. I keep a hat in all of my vehicles. I always have one in my beach bag and always wear one when working outdoors.

๐ŸŒ Protect your skin from the sun daily!! Hats and sunblock are a must!! Skin treatments, such as glycolic and other AHA’s, Salicylic acid (BHA), Retinol, Laser’s and any other skin resurfacing treatments, make your skin more sensitive to the sun. This is because it’s baby (new) skin. However, as long as you keep it protected from the sun your skin will be fine๐Ÿ˜‰ Actually better than fine, beautiful!!

๐ŸŒžEven if there is little to no sun, always use at least a SPF 15. ๐ŸŒผ If you don’t know how the Sun Protect Factor works, this is a quick and simple way to learn.

๐ŸŒผ Let’s say you burn after 10 minutes of being in the sun without any sun protection. ๐ŸŒ If you are using a SPF 15, times that by 10 (how long before you burn without SPF) and that will give you 150 ๐Ÿค”mintues out in the sun before you burn with sun protection.

15×10=150 (min. before you burn w/spf)

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŒพ I’m NOT a huge fan of high SPF. The higher your sunscreen or sunblock is, the more chemicals it has in it. ๐ŸŒดIf you plan on spending a day at the beach that’s when you would need a higher SPF.
