Getting ready for your Glycolic Treatment • Become the professional

Dear Baby Me Club Member,
Hello 🖐 and welcome to the club. Getting ready for your Glycolic Treatment is easy to do. I’m going to share with you how you can have beautiful skin for a fraction of the price. But first there are some very important things that you should know. These Glycolic Treatments are the same treatments that are being done by skincare professional all over the world. Therefore, you need to know what the professionals know. So with that being said, let’s get right into it.

1. If you are using any products with RETINOL (Retin-A, Retinol Palmitate, Vitamin A) you must stop using it four days before getting ready for your Glycolic Treatment, and you must wait four days after the Glycolic Treatment to restart using it again (4 days before and 4 days after).

2. Glycolic Treatments will make you more sensitive to the sun, because you will be getting rid of old skin cells and making room for new skin cells. In other words, please administer sunscreen every morning before leaving the house. We prefer SPF 30, or higher if you are planning on being out in it the sun for a long period of time, example: beach day or hiking. Also, a hat is always a good idea providing you with a little more protection (keep one in the car).

3. Your skincare regimen can remain the same excluding RETINOL, and there is no need to exfoliate for the next four days. After you do the Glycolic, wait for four days and you can restart your RETINOL and start to lightly exfoliate the skin.

4. What to expect after your treatment: most people have no reaction at all. I have performed this treatment for over 15 years and it is wonderful. The only reactions I have encountered was because someone did NOT stop using RETINOL. You may be a little pink afterwards, or a little flake for a few days; however, this is not likely to happen with a 30% Glycolic Treatment. Peeling is more likely with a 50% Glycolic Treatment or 70% Glycolic Treatment. Your skin will feel more energized and alive.

5. The Glycolic Treatment will continue working for the next 30 days, because of this you will see the full results more towards the end of the 30 day cycle. This is why most clients come in to the clinic on a monthly cycle. The skins normal cycle is every 28-30 days; however, this is all relevant to your age. Once you turn 30 you add an extra day for every year, so if you are 60, your skin now takes almost 2 months to turn over and that’s why the skin begins to look dull and tired. Glycolic will give you back your youthful appearance by tricking your brain into regenerating collagen every 30 days like it was before you started aging.

6. There are two types of treatments that I prefer. Do one every 30 days as I explained up above. This will keep the skin bright and youthful. It will also help with acne throughout the month. Most people will know when it’s been a month because their skin will become dull and they will start to break out again. Also, it is important to know that these treatments will begin to build. Each month the skin will look better and better. After a while you will start to notice results like less discoloration (hyperpigmentation), less fine lines and wrinkles, noticeably  firmer skin, better texture (decreased acne marks and scarring, thinner skin if you have a thick skin type), brighter skin, less broken capillaries and the list goes on.

The other treatment type is a little more aggressive. Six treatments in three weeks. You will perform 2 Glycolic Treatments a week, for three weeks. Space these out, three days and then four days or the other way around. This is a good way of getting quicker results. After the six treatments, continue doing monthly treatments to maintain and improve results.
